It provides the underpinning knowledge and skills required to successfully perform in the areas of Fashion, Theatre and Media Make-Up with Special Effects. TIME COMMITMENT: Attendance is required two evenings per week over eight months - October 2009 - June 2010 Tuesday and Thursday 6.00pm - 9.00pm COURSE CONTENT Module 1: Make-Up Anatomy and Physiology to include the bones and muscles of cranium and face. Skin including structure, function and skin conditions. Application of Make-Up to include recognition and understanding of Lighting, Skin Tones, Face Shapes, Corrective/Contouring Techniques. Students will learn Day, Evening and Bridal Make-up. CaseStudies/Portfolio Work Professional Conduct and Business Awareness.
